Heal in sound: A hypnotic sound bath

About the event

Sound waves don’t just impact our sense of hearing; they can also influence our physical and emotional states. Various frequencies and vibrations can interact with the human body and promote relaxation, reduce stress, and even alleviate pain.

The key principle in sound healing is resonance. Resonance occurs when one vibrating object forces another object to vibrate at its natural frequency. This phenomenon is most evident when a singer shatters a glass by singing at a particular pitch that matches the glass’s natural resonant frequency.

Likewise, different parts of the body and its cells have their own resonant frequencies. By exposing the body to specific sound frequencies, sound healing practitioners induce resonance in targeted areas, promoting a sense of balance and well-being. This can lead to a variety of healing and a calming harmonizing state, such as stress reduction, improved sleep, and a general sense of well-being.

The piezoelectric effect

Sound also affects our biology: our cells and tissues which contributes to the overall healing effect through a key phenomenon – the piezoelectric effect.

The piezoelectric effect is the ability of certain materials to generate an electric charge in response to applied mechanical stress. In the context of sound healing, this effect occurs when sound waves create mechanical vibrations in the body. These vibrations can, in turn, influence the electrical charge of cells, potentially affecting their function, even stimulate bone regeneration and enhance the healing of fractures.

In this session the participants will be guided through a relaxing hypnotic journey accompanied by a candle-lit sound healing bath!

PS: All participants will receive Dr. Kostina’s book on trauma and the accompanying healing Cards of Light.
